The Board of Governors at AfC Virtual School convenes each term to provide insight, support, and constructive challenge to the Virtual School Head, helping to shape and enhance the provision for our students.

This governance and external scrutiny demonstrate Achieving for Children’s strong commitment to the education and welfare of Looked After Children.

Beyond their collective oversight of the Virtual School Head and her team, each Governor serves as a Link Governor for one of the Seven Mission Statements, which are integral to the school’s ethos and practice.

Governors are currently undertaking induction training in their specialist areas to facilitate more informed and focused discussions during Board meetings.

We are privileged to have such an experienced and highly qualified Governing Board whose dedication and enthusiasm are invaluable in supporting the school’s continued success.
