Confidential Online Consultation Space for Social Workers

Achieving for Children’s Virtual School is pleased to offer 50-minute online consultation clinics designed exclusively for social workers. These sessions provide a confidential, collaborative space to reflect, problem-solve, and find solutions to challenges relating to children and young people’s education.

What to Expect

Each session offers:

  • A confidential ‘thinking space’ to explore educational concerns

  • Support from an Educational Psychologist and a member of the AfC Extended Duties Team

  • A collaborative and solution-focused approach to overcoming barriers to learning

Focus Areas

These clinics are particularly helpful when working with:

  • Children and young people on Child in Need (CIN) or Child Protection (CP) plans

  • Cases where school attendance or academic progress is a concern

  • Pupils struggling with social engagement in the educational setting

  • Situations where you are seeking practical strategies to support learning and engagement

Please note: These clinics are intended to complement—not replace—existing systems for the management and supervision of social workers.
